When my dogs got spayed and neutered, the veterinary clinic put a small tattoo near their small scar. The nurse aid this was so they could be easily identified as already having had surgery.
I did not know this was done and I hate it. Did you know that this would be done or did they just told you that after it was done? I cannot figure out why do that in the first place, it is especially frustrating since it was done by people who are there to take care of animals!
