I agree they should have the freedom to wear whatever they want. Also, consider the issue of expectations. Don't we all sort of expect big stars to wear clothing and jewelry supplied (one way or another) by designers or reps? I mean, I always assume that the trendiest-dressing stars receive a lot of their clothing for free. It makes me a little envious - <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> - but it doesn't make me angry or disappointed. You know?
But as I talk about in this new article, some people apparently are really critical of these practices.
I guess I have bigger concerns over some aspects of capitalism in general - but this fashion stuff is no where near at the top of my concerns.
