"Suffragette", which chronicles the struggle for women's voting rights in Britain at the end of the 19th century, will open in the US Oct. 30th. The film stars Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan and Helena Bonham Carter. The screenplay was written by Abi Morgan, who wrote "Iron Lady" for Meryl Streep. "Suffragette" will open the 59th BFI (British Film Institute) London Film Festival on Oct. 7th. The trailer is available to view online.
