I am the brand new (in training) editor for the Kidney Disease Site. I will definitely be writing articles about foods and sharing recipes, among other things. But for now, I would like to share that some of the best foods for people with kidney disease are fresh vegetables such as cabbage, red and green bell peppers, garlic, onions, and cauliflower, fresh fruits such as blueberries, cranberries, strawberries, raspberries, apples, grapes (especially red) and cherries, proteins like egg whites and white chicken meat, and fish, particularly fish with healthy omega 3 fats such as wild caught (not farmed) salmon. Olive oil is a good healthy fat, too. Hope this helps!
