Today, at the Cannes Film Festival, it was announced that Sony Pictures Classics will distribute Robert Redford's new indie film "Truth" in the US. Redford plays Dan Rather and Cate Blanchett plays a CBS news producer. The plot concerns a story they broadcast about George W. Bush that eventually ended their careers. Dennis Quaid co-stars and James Vanderbilt directs.
