I keep a journal of what I have read. I start a new journal every year. On each page there is a space for the title, author, date published and a system of 5 star ratings. There is also a space to write if I was inspired to look up some subject that was mentioned in the book and a place to write a short summary of the book.

That sounds interesting. I've never thought of that before.

Jana -- it's like mini book reports back from our school days but you can put just the info you want to into it -- stuff you want to remember.

What a great idea, Daisybun smile

I recently read a book, and about halfway through, I realized I'd read it before LOL. Granted, it had probably been 20 years.

I know every year, my goals is to read more, like 20 books a year at least. When I get to the end of the year, I have no idea what I've read - but I don't think I'm getting close to 20. This journal sounds like a fun way to keep track smile
