Is it possible to want to lose weight but still have a positive self image?
I'm not talking about thinking that you feel you are pudgy and need to lose X number of pounds or that your doctor suggested you lose some weight to avoid some unpleasant disease (like hypertension or Type 2 Diabetes).
I want to know if it's possible to still have a positive self-image about your body, but be ok with deciding to be a different size?
