We made the veggie soup last night. I added some little hamburger chunks. It was yummy with a salad. Today, I had another bowl with a pretzel roll. Don't you just love those pretzel rolls?

I also love barley. I am going to make a mushroom and barley soup recipe, one of these days. I also love split pea, and yours sounds especially delicious!

Pretzel roll dough is boiled like pretzels, before it is baked. They are small, slider sized, and dense. The flavor is a bit like a soft pretzel. They have an appealing dark brown color.
