Susan, I love your latest article about "catching moments for reflection." I find myself doing this throughout the day whenever there is a quiet time.
During meditation, when I find my mind fluttering back to a particular concern, I used to will my mind to release it but now with your suggestion:
"If you need to concentrate on a worldly matter, concentrate on it fully at that moment. We need to regulate our time so that we meet worldly obligations, while simultaneously maintaining peace of mind."
...I see how to work with my mind instead of against it. If my mind can't let go of something, it's usually something that needs to be attended to.
