Insurgent Movie Review

If you've seen Insurgent, how did you like it? How does is stack up as far as sequels go?

I saw Insurgent last week. I had no idea it was a sequel (I actually thought it was a completely different movie). So now, I guess I'll need to watch Divergent.

That's also probably a really good reason why I didn't understand the movie until near the end when Tris was going through the tests to open the box. It was at that point that I had an "a-ha" moment.

Looking back, it was a really good movie .. rich in ideas and requires the viewer to engage in deep thinking.

Alice, I didn't really understand a lot of the first movie, until I saw the second and actually saw the explanation of certain things like the difference between the divergent and the factionless. I absolutely agree, it does require some deep thinking. Did you find yourself, deciding which faction you would belong to? :-)
