Yes, Jana, that would be a good idea. Garden visits are a wonderful combination of relaxing and stimulating. I think they can inspire you in many ways. This is one of the magnolias now in bloom in Kew.

My grandson has been here all day. My daughter had a pre-kinder garten interview with my five year old grandson's teacher at pre school so she was late coming by today. But I had dinner for nine tonight with my local children and grandchildren. I'm exhausted. Tomorrow morning bright and early we're heading for Stratford Hall.

Wow Mona! That Magnolia is beautiful. I need more of that kind of therapy for sure. That is breathtaking!

Yesterday I went to bed at 2:28 and got up at 10:46. I did something for my parents (activated a points card online), watched the first half of Judge Judy at 16:00, Rafael Nadal at the Miami Open (internet), the rest of Judge Judy after 19:00, Chopped at 20:00, the Dallas Stars at 21:30 and Real Time at 1:00. It was an average night and a very bad day.

Seven of us went to Stratford Hall today. There was a lecture by Nancy Carter-Crump author of Hearthside cooking; a tour; a fabulous four-course dinner - mushroom soup with Sally Lund bread/stuffed pork loin with asparagus, apple sauce, spinach, squash/salad/a muffin cake with a spoonful of caramel ice cream; and ultimately a trip to the gift shop.

I'm relaxing today. Tiring day yesterday after a wonderful children's writing conference in Tulsa. I do need to get to WalMart to pick up a few grocery items and some makeup foundation.

Saw the Argentinian film Wild Stories today. It was playing at a lovely old cinema in Notting Hill. A "silver screening" which has reduced rates for seniors and they give you a cup of tea and a biscuit (cookie). Irresistible.

Instead of taking the bus from the train station, I walked home, stopping on the way to get blueberries for my breakfast.

I've been doing some research for an article.

And I think it's bedtime soon. Turning the clock forward always wears me out. zzzzzzzzz
