Coming up pretty fast is the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Spring Conference - Oklahoma region. It will be Tulsa and I'm really looking forward to it. It will be held the last Saturday at the end of the month. We meet up with each other, agents and publishers. Very exciting and a great way to establish personal connections and get your material into the right hands.

I was emailed a list of books that will be used in presentations at the Spring Conference in Tulsa. One of the books is listed as an excellent example of voice -- Three Times Lucky by Sheila Turnage.

Headed To Tulsa today. Tomorrow is the Spring children's writer's conference so I am super psyched! I love meting with agents, publishers, editors, etc. Illustrators are always fun to interact with. This year is my first in the Oklahoma region but I was a member of the Arizona region for 20 years.
