It's unbelievable how fast time shoots by ... it is already a month plus since this last post, sjoe mense!

Here is one that may be too long for a bumper sticker, but it helps me get through some of the disappointments I have when I lose a plant or the flowering season is too short ...

In your Garden...
Don't Cry because it is Over
Smile because it Happened!

Cheers now

WOT! No bumper stickers since September last year ... Oh dear - we have to change that.

Saw this yesterday on a compost delivery lorry and grinned, especially because the guy doing the deliveries was quite a dish.

WANTED. GARDENER.
Must look good bending over.

Hmmm. Don't get cross now.

Cheers

Hi y'all,

Here's one that could work ...

Give a Gift from the Garden
Pick a Rose.

Guess you could also pick a Daisy?

Do you have bumper stickers on your car? Would you? Why and/or why not? Do tell and anyway add a bumper sticker of your own. Ta

Cheers

I'm not a gardener, but I know people who are. If Descartes had been a gardener, his bumper sticker - surely they had them for their carriages! - might have been . . .

I GARDEN, THEREFORE I AM.

Hi Mona,

Cogito ergo sum in disguise ... Mona, that just has to be the best so far! Still we can keep on trying.

Here's another one:

'Come down to Earth - Go Gardening.'

Nobody answered ... are you a bumper sticker person?

Cheers now

Hello Everyone,

How about this one?

The answer lies in gardening not the wind! Sorry Bob!

Cheers

Nope, predates the Queen, produced but not used in WWII to be issued in case of major catastrophe, eg. airraid and/or invasion.

HMQ is never 'in a bit of a fuss', she has people to fuss for her. smile

Hi Peter,

Thanks for this info - and yes, you are so right, she has people to fuss for her except when it came to Diana. Anyway.

Getting back to bumper stickers how about this one I saw as a book mark in a gardening book store:

I GROW POTATOES THEREFORE I AM (See Mona's post above)

Needless to say I bought it for two reasons. To mark my place in whatever I am reading but also to remind me that I am and so must be- - whether growing potatoes or tomatoes or bulbs or roses or whatever.

It seems this this could be another one those sayings that has been hijacked like the 'stay calm' one.

Cheers now
