Early in the morning on February 17, 2015 a fireball whizzed over Pittsburgh, PA in the USA. There were eyewitness reports from four states, and a few people in Pittsburgh also heard a boom after seeing the bright meteor.
NASA's All Sky Fireball Network captured it on film. It was estimated to be about two feet across with a weight of some 500 lbs.
Fortunately, it didn't cause any damage or injuries. Although much smaller than the Chelyabinsk meteor, you certainly wouldn't have wanted it to land on your house!
