I just finished reading 'Forty rules of love' by Elif Shafak, which I had received for reviewing.

Going by the name, I thought the book is on romance. On the contrary, it is about 'Sufi' line of thought.

The book was bit confusing in the beginning, especially in the chapters were narration was in first person. As I read on, I understood that the person narrating the story was named in the title of that chapter. The end is tragic but the sadness does not envelop you. Instead, you get a feeling of liberation and peace at the end of the book.

Over all, a spiritually stirring book. Do read it.
