I am sure you have mentioned this before, but it was just so nice I thought I would say it again ... I recently went to a soup and sandwich gathering and the hostess had an array of mix and match ingredients with all sorts of breads, wraps and rolls and essentially you could make your own sarmie.
One of her mixes was diced roast chicken with fresh, finely chopped white onion smothered in olive oil vinaigrette. I made myself a rye bread sarmie and then went to heaven - though I am sure the cool white helped!
