Holidays are times when hopefully memories are made, we can spend time with the family, give ourselves time to take a rest from work and all the other pressures parents face. Of course life will not be like that for many reasons.
Teenagers can go through many phases, for some Christmas will still hold the magic, they will join in the fun and games, they will want to spend time with family and still enjoy opening their presents. For others, the magic has disappeared (temporarily) as teenage angst takes over the emotional self.

What ever your family circumstances, I hope you find peace, remind yourselves that the turbulent years of teenagers are a stage that most of us survive.
Enjoy the festive time- post some ideas to help other parents through the holidays- and let us raise a glass of orange juice to parents the world over!
Merry Christmas
