I am still old-school. I get the circulars from my local stores and compare them to what I need to buy. Walmart is my main store for deals if no other store has a sale. I will buy some items that I don't need (but use regularly) if they are on sale at one of the stores.
Often, I will choose the store with the most deals or the best deal on a certain item. It can become too time-consuming to run to every store. Besides, I have noticed a tendency to purchase more stuff the more stores I go in to shop.
