I was watching a really old mini-series and went online to read about why one of the main characters was killed off and I came across some reviews. The reviewer was upset, not only over the fact that the movie didn't follow the book exactly, but what they felt were inaccuracies in timelines. For example, why did it take them one week to get to Richmond from DC on horseback, but it took nine months to get the South Carolina? A responder asked why did they spend so much time complaining about the movie, rather than enjoying the wonderful acting, the scenery and the action.

Which leads me to the question, when you watch a movie do you watch it for complete accuracy or do you watch for entertainment purposes?
