A few weeks ago in my newsletter, I asked my readers what kinds of volunteering activities they do (thanks, by the way, for your responses). But now I wanted to open it up to the forum!: What kinds of volunteering do you do or have you done in your community?
Next week I have an orientation meeting to start volunteering in the playroom at the homeless shelter downtown. I also occasionally do volunteer crochet projects, like making baby blankets for babies at the hospital or scarves for homeless people and things like that.
