Foodiebabe 815 - yes! Sumac and zaatar are wonderful additions to all kinds of ingredients that will add just that little bit of something different without overpowering the recipe.
I used the Zaatar recently in one of my recipes along with a little curry powder. You couldn't taste curry per se, but it added something wonderful to the zaatar. My children loved this recipe, and I took some to work for lunch the next day and ate it cold - it was wonderful! Check out the recipe below. It's easy!
