I don't know about you - but when my children were in kindergarten, my goals were not all focused on mathematical achievements, the ability to read and spell, or getting my child tested for gifted studies.

I wanted my children to form good, social relationships, to experience success in school and, therefore, build a love for learning, and to be encouraged to figure out who they were - what their strengths are - and to learn to always be curious.

I'd love to hear about your (current) or (former) kindergartner's developing changes. What did your 'baby' let go of as she moved through the kindergarten year?
