One term used in investing is liquidity. Investments are referred to as liquid if they can be easily converted to cash. Do you know which investments are liquid or illiquid?

Leif,

Good to hear from you.

In the financial industry, a college education is not really considered an asset by technical definition. But, in my opinion, it can be a huge asset because of the higher earning power.

Hope you are doing well with your studies.

P.S. I forgot to add - Think of all those interesting facts you have learned that may seem useless. One day you may go on a game show and win big money. That would be an asset.

Think of your emergency fund as a liquid asset.
