I can't use lip liner, but yes It helps the lipstick stay longer. you should fill in the whole lip then apply lipstick and lip gloss if you wish.

I agree, Kelly. I'm not a big fan of lip liner myself, but some people love to use it. The way you mentioned in your post is the best way to do it. Thanks for your comments.
