Just finished watching Last of the Mohicans, one of my favorite movies ever. Gorgeous cinematography. Stunning music. They made enormous effort to be authentic. It reminds me each time of why I adore New England so much. The landscapes here touch my soul.

This movie was entirely filmed in North Carolina, from what my new visitor center people tell me.

Lovely, Jilly! That is a pretty area too. They share many of the same features. I imagine that's why they used it as a stand-in!
