Too often, we focus on our faults. If our accomplishments aren't significant enough, we dismiss them. Use this thread to make note of your victories - no matter how small!

So, what are you proud of today?

Today, I'm proud of taking the time to lay still and listen to the birds singing before I started my day.

Today, I did a nice thing for Dan (my goal is to do a nice thing for him each day, even if it's a tiny thing).

i also flossed and exfoliated, which i am also trying to do daily.

I need to do a fitness thing today to get that out of the way. Snowing outside, so i need to run on my step box, i think, at least for fifteen minutes.

Oh, and I just had a lentil and salad breakfast. I'm trying to eat as much salad as possible, and less processed foods.

Good for you, Jilly! grin

Today I'm proud of getting up and getting dressed, even though I really wanted to lounge in bed; it's freezing this morning!

Today I'm proud of working out first thing this morning! I've been in an exercise slump lately.

What are you proud of today?

I'm proud of thinking positive thoughts about myself today. Not always easy to do!

I'm proud of all of the yardwork I completed today. It was hard work, but well worth it.

Today I'm proud to have treated myself with patience and kindness. I'm also wearing a new sundress that I love for no special reason other than I wanted to!

That I managed to work in some fitness, even if it was only a short walk.

Good job Val!

Today I'm proud of having friends over for dinner. It's been months since I've done that and it was really nice to have a noisy fun group here today.

Thank you, Rayna, and that's awesome that you had friends over for dinner! I never find it easy to do that because it's always such a big production (sprucing up the house, cooking, etc).

Also wanted to say, I liked your book review on Darkness Visible. I've never read a Styron book but I've heard a lot about that one. I bought it last night and read the first few pages -- good Golly is he wordy and a bit pompous or what? -- but it's still fascinating. Thanks for jogging my memory on picking up that book!

Thanks a lot, Val!
Yeah, Styron's memoir was lovely, but some of his earlier (fiction) works were verbose for my taste.

Today I am proud of going to a friend's for lunch and trying a really unusual island dish!

Today I'm proud of meeting new people and going out for lunch with friends.
No isolating myself this week!

I am proud of accepting help today, even though (technically) I didn't need it.

Alright. I'm coming out. Depressed but not ashamed! It's time to take the stigma off. Did you say tacos?

I love that, Jana. It should be a bumper sticker: "Depressed but not ashamed."

Today, I'm proud that I cleaned the (super messy) hall bathroom. Woohoo, glad to get that over with...
