Hello Everyone,

Well there is still some time to go to the Easter holidays, but here is an idea for you to consider - buying and growing your own beautiful Easter Lily. Such grace and perfection - nature is truly great.

Easter Lily Pots

What is nice is that there are many varieties of lilies that may take your fancy so, use this advice for most of them ... and enjoy your choices.

Just beware - Easter Lilies are TOXIC to cats - be very careful. It is not likely that your cat is going to chomp on the leaves ... but please keep cavey, place your pots out of reach.

Come tell us your stories!

Cheers now

Hi there,

It's the time of the year again when many people have major religious celebrations across the world .. are you planning to grow something or give some flowers or plants to celebrate faith and family?

How about the following mixes or plant pot recipes for your containers or gifts.

For a YELLOW or GOLDEN look, pot up three plants like yellow kalenchoe with a gold pothos and a gold croton OR for a calming WHITE container pot up white kalenchoe with a peace lily and some variegated ivy.

Another WHITE mix could include a mini calla lily with a miniature white rose or campanula. Fill with a green spiller of choice - try creeping jenny.

A really stunning EXOTIC pot that will give much pleasure (and is a good Easter-time gift from you to you!) could be potting up a purple phalaenopsis orchid with a flame orange guzmania bromeliad.

Other plant and flowers available at this time of year include any of the following - make a choice then make a decision to plant up some Easer-time pots ... lucky the person who grows or gets.

• Oriental Lilies• Hydrangeas • Azaleas• Mums• Reiger Begonia Primroses• Daffodils• Hyacinths• Tulips• Kalanchoe• African Violets• Regal Geraniums• Gerbera Daisies• Cyclamen.

Use your imagination, ask your friendly nurseryman, speak to fellow and neighbours, there is no limit to the combinations and ideas.

The best thing about it all is that you still have time to plan and do.

Cheers now
