I decided that my Kindle Fire 8.9 is a great device for a person with ADD! It can be a toy or a tool, depending on how you are using it. Would you like to save space in your home? The Kindle Fire can take on so many electronic roles, such as streaming video, storing and playing music, and surfing the net. Store over 1,000 books in a Kindle and reduce the clutter around your home. One device does so much in a small amount of space! Kindle Review-A Device for Adults with ADD

The Kindle Fire has Dolby sound. I was surprised at the richness of sound when I played my music for the first time.

I "borrowed" a book on my Kindle. It has no due date. That's one way to avoid library fines!

It's great to be able to lay in bed with the light off and read!

I really love the reading experience on the Kindle. I wasn't sure that I would.

So great to hop into bed and read with the light out. I think my husband likes that better, too!

Last night I fell asleep holding my Kindle. I woke up, and it had powered itself down. Just glad I didn't roll on it!

Kindle has many books that are inexpensive. I got a book for just %1.99!

There are nice leather holders for the Kindle. Mine wakes my Kindle when it opens and puts it to sleep when the cover is closed. So convenient!

I love how portable the Kindle is, but I can always leave a bound book in a hot car. Not so for the Kindle.

I especially enjoy not bringing more stuff into the house. I've bought about 10 Kindle books, and there is no extra clutter!

One cool thing about the Kindle is that I can pre-order books and I get them directly on the Kindle on the day that they come out. How neat is that?

A disadvantage of the Kindle is that I can't read in the tub. I don't know how many library books that I paid for because I fell asleep, the book got rowdy and went for a swim. I usually wake up right after the book dives in!

Does anybody else have problems with keeping their Kindle Fire 8.0 charged? Mine charges very slowly.

I slow charge using my computer, and it is so very slooooooow. Do you have a better idea for charging?

When you are charging the Kindle, make sure that it is off...completely off!

How do you remember to plug your Kindle in? Mine doesn't remind me until it is at 15%!

I've developed a strategy for charging my Kindle. If I am not reading during the day, it is plugged in.

I've reduced my clutter by just buying Kindle books. If I must have a paper copy to read, I borrow it from the library.

I love the way that I can tap the footnote number, be taken right to that footnote, then tap again and go back to reading. Too cool! If you don't have a Kindle, you might enjoy the review.

A book that I have been looking forward to for years just showed up on my Kindle. I think that I must have pre-purchased it. Otherwise, the best explanation is the Kindle Book Fairy blessed me!

One of the nice things about my Kindle is that I can play music on it.
So, I am saving space by having my books and CDs organized on my Kindle.

When my old eyes are tired, I just turn the brightness where I can see best and make the print larger.
Last year I kept making the print larger. It occurred to me that my vision had gotten significantly worse, but I didn't notice because my Kindle helped me adapt. Things were better after the cataract surgery!

My Kindle saves so much book space! Plus, I don't have as much clutter. I do have to remember to charge it!

Has anybody received a Kindle that belonged to somebody else before it came to you? Do you know how to transfer it? Let me know, since I can really use some guidance in this area!

I love walking into a dark bedroom and opening my Kindle for a flashlight, then settling into bed without the light on to read before I sleep.

Today we found out that it is easy to de-register a Kindle and re-register it to somebody else.

When you de-register a Kindle, you lose access to the content that was on it. It is a blank slate, ready for you to make your own!

When you de-register a Kindle, be sure to set it back to factory defaults. Do the two things at the same time. This prevents stranger-than-fiction things happening when you are trying to download new content or use new apps.

If you read a lot, maybe because you have ADD and a prowling mind, try KindleUnlimited. For $10 a month, you can download 10 books at a time to your Kindle. These are often not first-tier authors, but some are. I probably save $50 a month in fees, since I use KindleUnlimited. I can keep the books for however long I want to. Right now, I have Lisa Shea's book on Twitter. That one, I'll review.
