Hi there Tina,

You are so right about having a daily routine, it just makes such sense.

Of course weekends and holidays are different, but need their routines too - it just makes it so much easier to break the rules when you have some in place!

It is when a person drifts sort of doing what has to be done or should be done that causes trouble. This leads to poor memories and a lot of 'if only' and 'coulda woulda shoulda' thinking!

I am interested in your allocation for gardening .. you had an old 15 mins time slot and presently you spend an hour at the end of the day. What kind of garden do you have? Containers? How many and what are you growing?

Please share if you will, and I say thanks

Cheers

It's mainly weeding that needs a time slot. With the old 15 minutes a day, I didn't used to do the lawns. Now I mow lawns on a Monday, do the edges on a Tuesday and the other 3 days I've split the weeding into areas and I work on one each day.

There are 4 areas in my garden and I rotate through them Wednesday through Friday. And sometimes I miss days too, I don't manage to get out there every day.

My garden. I like fruit and I have: lemon, lime, orange, apples, blueberries, grapes, figs and guava (the last 2 are yet to produce fruit)

Then I have flowers: gazania, cyclamen, roses, oleander, petunia and quite a few I don't know the names of. I also have hanging baskets and a huge maple tree that drops leaves or spikey balls for half of the year. So there is always lots of work to do.
