I recorded Claudette Colbert and Don Ameche's "Midnight" about a month ago when it played on TCM. I think I've watched bits and pieces of it at least 4 times since then. It is that good!

The film is at times sweet, touching and LOL funny--thanks mostly to Ameche and Barrymore. I can't believe that Colbert and Ameche didn't become an often paired team ie Joan Crawford and Clark Gable. After "Midnight" they only made two more movies together. One of which, "Guest Wife" I have on hold at the library. Can't wait to see it!
