OK!

Woke up this morning and I looked like I had been 12 rounds with Mohammed Ali. My head is so conjested my eyes were almost closed.

That eased up a bit, but I became deaf in my right ear. Could NOT hear the customers at all today...so frustrating.

Then, the trains decided to run local. Left work early to be home with my kids. It took 1 hour instead of 20 minutes.

Then, I washed the dishes after dinner and the sink got bunged up, so I plunged it. Then! I was standing in a pool of water by the sink..of course a leak!

The only upside to the day was, I have been meaning to clean under the sink for months! IT'S DONE! lol But not fixed though. Hubby is about to go to work. I guess it's back to the old days with a bucket for washing the holiday dishes!

Hope you're feeling a bit better now! smile

I'm about to go out to my regular wage job in Portsmouth UK, plus covering for the telecare guy , sensory imparement guy, and help out with the Early Intervention Project fitting any equipment and enhancing security. The roads will probably be like 'Death Race 2000', with last minute shoppers and there's already been weather warnings out for a storm due to hit today with high winds and driving rain.

On the subject of your sink have you tried the old "1/2 cup of salt and 1/2 cup of baking soda followed by a teakettle of boiling water once the reaction has calmed down"?

If the problem is anything more serious I hope it gets sorted out soon.

LOL IAN!

I know two Ians and they are both my brothers-in-law! smile

Well, I loved your remedy for the sink. However, the house is very old, built by my husbands grandfather back in the very early 1900's. So I looked at the plumbing under the sink and and it is very BIG, very CURLY and my hubby found the problem. Just before the u-bend there was a hole big enough for you to stick your little finger end in.

Well, tomorrow we will have a patch up job, then a new pipe....eventually.

Thanks for your advice though!

I will check out your site. I am curious about Pagan stuff.

Have a very Happy Holiday! Keep in touch Ian!

Thanks Allyson, hope you liked it.

I've been doing a long article split into four parts these last few weeks so hope you looked over several 'pages' to get a good overview. Is there any aspect of Paganism that you would particularly like to know more about? The article I am currently writing is on principles of predicting the future, as we are coming up to the calender New Year when lots of Pagans use various methods for seeing into the coming months.

Glad you got the sink semi-sorted out. My son in law who is a plumber was fascinated by the differences between UK and US plumbing and heating systems when we were last over. Especially on the heating side of things.
