I don't know if you listed this, too, but I think those ice cubes that don't melt are a fabulous gift for those friends who like white wine (or my friends who like their Chianti cold).

Good idea. I've not come across them myself. If I can't chill a white wine in advance then I have a chiller sleeve I keep in the freezer that works quickly. If away then I put a couple of ice-cubes in my glass.

Ref Chianti - yes its a red, but red wines are usually served much too warm. It should taste cool to the lips, not warm.

You are so right in that everyone has different tastes when it comes to wine. I know I am very picky.
