Hi, Steve--

Do you know when the 2014 Toyota Highlanders will be out?

Thanks!

Hi Linda Sue,

The 2014 Highlander is scheduled to arrive at dealers in January. 2014 is a new model year!

Thanks, Steve. Is that why it's so late? Don't they usually come out in October? We bought our 2005 Corolla Oct 31, 2004, and we thought the 2014s would be out late 2013, instead of early 2014.

That could be why it's late. It could also be based on the amount of inventory of 2013's remaining where they have quite a few and don't want to discount all of them.

Thanks, Steve! We're planning to buy a 2014 Highlander as soon as they come out. Do you have an opinion about the quality of that SUV? We've been buying Toyotas since the early 80s, have always had good service from them, but we've never had an SUV, except for a '99 Rav, which I didn't like very much. But I understand that the Highlander is built on an Avalon chassis and should ride as smoothly as a car.

Thanks in advance for any info you can offer!

Yes, the Highlander is a typical Toyota product: Well built, high quality, safe, and rides well.
There are others to look at in that class, bit if you're a Toyota loyalist, thete's no real compelling teason to change.
