Ian, I find your astral visits to the other side positively fascinating.

It's funny to me that everyone on the other side insists that they are not dead because dead means "end" and they most certainly continue to exist. We have to clarify when we speak to them about where they are. "You're not on earth anymore."

Even that can be met with resistance as "where they are" can look exactly like their old familiar stomping grounds here. They don't yet understand how their minds form their surroundings. Almost like a cool Star Trek holodeck.

My deceased father is aware he has left this earth plane and is glad for it. But he lingers nearby frequently and peeks in on us all. My deceased son, on the other hand, does come often but prefers to pull me onto the other side.

I don't think Dad hangs around our house, and probably not even my Mums. I had the impression that he was 'hanging out' with some of his old Royal Navy and Intelligence buddies, as well as playing golf, possibly helping out with some of them who were having problems adjusting to the 'post mortem state'. I think he read most of the magick books I left at home when I was away at Boarding School so was better prepared than most of his colleagues when he died and hence his rapid movement away from the physical.
