Lately I have been making origami lucky stars. Has anyone else made these? They are super easy to make and only take a minute or two to make. I can't explain how to do it without photos, but if you google origami lucky stars you will find several sites with instructions. You do not need any kind of special paper to make them. Any kind of normal weight paper (i.e. not cardstock) works. They use strips of paper that are 1/2 inch wide and 11 to 12 inches long. You can order paper stips for them, but you can just cut up paper you have. Use plain, marbled or small print. Large print does not usually look good. One normal sized sheet of paper (or a scrapbook sheet) makes a bunch of them. Some people make them with wrapping paper. I am going to try that this weekend.
