Greetings, Poetry Fans!

I have a new article on the Poetry site. That article offers a commentary about the poem, "Incident," by the current poet laureate of the United States. It is a subtle, fascinating poem that plumbs to depths of emotion. I would appreciate any feedback you care to offer about the article.

Natasha Trethewey's "Incident"
In June 2012, Natasha Trethewey was appointed U. S. Poet Laureate by the Librarian of Congress, James Billington. She is serving her second term in that position. Her poem, “Incident,” provides an example of the poet’s style, form, and theme.
