Aid has always been a controversial issue, and it is believed that by 2015 the demand for food in Sub-Saharan Africa will reach US$100 billion. This is double the amount in 2000.
The questions is then about giving the people fish or teaching them to fish for themselves.
But is this not a vicious circle? Under-nourished people are unable to fish.
