Hi, I'm helping out at the high school library re-shelving books after the small library was re-modeled. What's the best way to shelf a set of non-fiction books when the decimal numbers have other books between them? Should I break up the set or have books slightly out of order? Thanks, Alice

Hi Alice --

The set should not be split. Sounds like you will need to have one or the other set of books recataloged. That is the general practice at the libraries I've worked at.

Best,
Christine
