Let’s stretch this week.

1-Begin by standing with your feet planted firmly shoulder width apart.
2-Lace your fingers and take your arms over your head.
3-Turn your hands so that your laced fingers face the ceiling.
4-Stretch tall, lift your chest, lift the crown of your head.
5-Release your hands and float them slowly down to your side.
6-Repeat this movement 3 times.

7-Using the same hand position lift both arms over your head.
8-Slowly bend to the right side. Reach out through your hands and feel the stretch on the left side of your body. Hold the position for 3 breaths.
9-Come back to center and repeat to the left.
10-Do the side bends 3 times to each side.

This is a great stretch; it lengthens your spine; stretches your arms, hands, wrists, shoulders; and stretches the oblique as well as other muscles.
