Evening meditation time. I'm in a sunflower art show at the Booklovers' Gourmet in Webster (mine is the right photo) and it's so wonderful seeing everyone's styles. Bob had his sunflower featured in both the Smart Shopper and the Yankee Express - the square photo at the top. The show runs through Aug 31. What are you grateful for tonight? #namaste

I had a gentle yoga session today. I'm still not risking plank (i.e. push-up) pose but I can do the rest of my routine, including hula-hooping. I'm doing my best to be gentle with the injured toe. I'm hoping my toenail doesn't fall off, maybe it can heal? The dark area has been slowly expanding over the past two weeks but seems to have stalled, and it almost seems as if it's getting lighter in the center. Is that a good sign? Or do I have to resign myself to losing the nail? #namaste
Evening meditation time. Quite happy. Two of my photos were chosen for the upcoming Worcester City Hall Street Photography show. They'll be up as of August 17th. The first is "Cartwheeling Down The Street" and the second "Finding a Space". Bob also got one in. #namaste
Evening meditation time. I just finalized the latest versions of books 1-5 in my Social Networking series. Only 3 left to go! And then it's time to write book 9 on WattPad. Always something still on the list! #Namaste
Evening meditation time. A 91-yr-old woman just finally earned her degree. It hadn't been an option when she was young. She enthusiastically supported education for all her children and finally completed her own life-long dream. It's never too late.
Evening meditation time. I'm just back from an amazing Alaska cruise on the Oceania Regatta. It was full of opportunities for mindfulness. This young bear couldn't yet fish for himself, so his mom caught him one and "opened it up" for him. We can all use help at times. #namaste
Evening meditation time. There are some people you just know, intuitively, you can trust in. Bob took us an hour by boat plus 30 min on foot deep into bear territory. He balanced the calmness in his soul and a rifle on his shoulder. He kept us safe so we could experience the beauty of the wilderness. I appreciate that immensely. Imagine what our world could be if everyone had that same combination of mindfulness and readiness. #namaste
