Do you have memories of playing outside with your neighborhood friends until your mom called you in for dinner? Didn't friendships seem so easy and effortless back then? Then adulthood hit and our focus, interests, and future goals began to scatter us in many different directions.

I'm glad that with the advent of FB I've renewed some of those childhood friendships - yes we are somewhat different now but our values are the same.

Facebook has also reconnected me with old friends, as well as family that live in other states. It has been wonderful in that regard. While the virtual connection is nice and keeps me up to date on the lives of friends and family, I find making new off-line friends more difficult.
