I just posted an article that discusses private property rights, eminent domain, and Agenda 21.

Very thought provoking.

We have a road that is being widened near where we live and I feel so sorry for the people who live along that road because some of them have lost almost half their land to eminent domain.

That is one reason we looked specifically for a house in a cul-de-sac, it would be harder for the govt to claim it. Not impossible, I'm sure, but harder.

Agenda 21 sounds truly frightening.

I highly recommend researching Agenda 21. There are several good books on the subject that don't get too technical or too conspiracy theory-ish. Two that I recommend are "Agenda 21" by Glen Beck, and "Agenda 21" by Ron Taylor.

I didn't want to focus too much on Agenda 21 in the article because the name doesn't relate at all to what it actually does.
