Hey Burt!

Another mistake like that and I may go up in flames in the name of public happiness like the books in Fahrenheit 451!

Yes Burt, it is not the divine Omnipotent One that is omnipresent as not only is Big Brother watching you but so is Big Sister.
Then again, what do I know as doesn't 2 plus 2=5?
However, I have yet to cry out "do it to Maria!-do it to Maria!-Not me! Maria!"

Randomly thinking, one of my favorite quotes from another dystopian and totalitarian(albeit benevolent)-based novel, Brave New World, atheistic agnostic freethinking that is, is "one believes things because one has been conditioned to believe them."

My favorite dystopian movie would be the original Metropolis !

Incredible effects for the 1930's !!!

The more recent AI was a little stupid.

Perfectionism and vanity doesn't run in my family, I have it all.

So, your attempt at perfectionism is somewhat distasteful crazy smile

With all that heavy duty philosophy, you must come from MA smile

Forgive me for my simplistic replies, nicotine has somewhat of a blunting affect and my cognitive goes from eloquent to duh !

After all, I do live in FloriDUH...

he he smile

Excuses, excuses, excuses.. I've gotten pretty good at that over the years !

Hey Burt,

My mixing up Vonnegut with Bradbury would surely be reason enough for me ending up and burning perpetually in Texas or Florida, er, I mean hell. Wait! Then again, I might mean Texas or Florida as there is no literal hell, just Earthly places that closely resemble it. In your neck of the swamps are Mephistopheles, Beelzebub, Satan, Apollyon and Lucifer common names?

My cruel and unusual punishment here on earth is that I am not able an hour after posting to edit my mistakes! What have I done to deserve such a hellinous, er, I mean heinous fate!

Yup, I've been know to sing "Maria"-with definitely no Aves- in honor of my saintly Ma Eugenia (Maria) but as an atheistic agnostic I can't bring myself to "say it soft and it's almost like praying."

Even though my home town of Boston, MA is known as "the hub of the Universe," ala Athens, it is fah from being a bastion of philosophahs or,alas, even that many freethinkahs.

Random, Random, Random Thought!

What do you think that Emily Dickinson had in mind when she wrote in a letter to T.W. Higginson "I was thinking today-as I noticed, that the 'Supernatural'-was only the Natural, disclosed"?

Were its sentiments Paganistic? Atheistic? Agnostic? Or?

Emily was venturing into the metaphysical and occult.
