Clare, this is a very very easy drawstring bag to make. The embroidery will be done on a piece of canvas (used for needlepoint) and will be apliqued to the fabric.

I'm on my way to work, but when I get home, I'll dig out some links that show how to make this type of drawstring pouch.

Here you go Clare - this one is a good easy pattern.

Round bottom drawstring bag

You can make this out of just about any fabric that you like!
