To all or none,

Out of Compassion,I took care of a junkie for 4 months, doing taxi,
carrying him around in meetings A.A. C.A..He once cranked up in my car.
Ever seen a human with 3 pens or needles in his arms.He had missed a vein and
there was blood in my car.
They are so quick .Just got out of the car and he had already crushed Cyrokwell
in a spoon added water that he boiled with a torch then cranked up.Oh the
Compassion I felt for him at that instant.
About a year ,that I had let go,he purposely overdosed.Within 2 weeks lost 2
friends that committed suicide,by volontarely overdozing.
The second was christian.Respecting his beliefs ,I paid $15,00 for a
mass in his honor.By Buddhist standards ,I know he has already rebirthed.
Still these were his beleifs.I will be sitting in the first row in a catholic
church, maybe for the first time,in my life.
I beleive friendship transcends ,time.
Call me crazy, but to me this is Compassion.

Compassion,

A word that in the humanland is not very known.Compassion,is
one of the greatest act in both worlds.Compassion ,helps one
to rid of anger, resentment .It also creates a totally niew view of ordinary human beings that are not in the world of the Mind(rigpa.

Cultivate Compassion, and you will become a totally different
person .even if you are only in the humanland.

To all or none,
My friend Banthe ,from Sri-lanka sent me a few words on Compassion.

Friends:

Karunã: The Great Good Helper!

Karunā is feeling the pain of other beings, either partially or completely;

Possible translations:
1: Pity not from above: “I am better”, but as if in the other being’s shoes…
2: Compassion is OK, but that is difficult to reach up to for many beings…
3: Fellow feeling, sympathy, empathy, understanding are all OK, but somewhat
missing these essential points:

A: It is an inability to see and accept other being’s suffering and distress!
B: It is a deep desire to make others feel free, glad, happy and peaceful!
C: It is extended to and pervaded over many beings simultaneously…
The proximate cause of Karunā = pity is noticing other being’s helplessness.
The immediate effect of Karunā = pity is evaporation of all evil cruelty (this text is Theravada)

To all or none,

Humbly ,I will tell you what compassionte act ,I did today

There iis a woman ,Iknow, that was placed in a old aged home, without her approval,
People signed documents ,making her,non responsible.
She had been in an hospital for 1 week, and without signing any documents, the man that was her co-loc,he insisted to me that their relation was purely to split the rent.
Had her placed without her approval,in revenge, because she prefered her dog over him.
He is playing in her bank accounts. She does not have her keys to her trailor home

,nor to her safety deposit box.

So someone I in a way abusing of her

So I took it on myself to see local services with my story. The
Woman could not believe what Iwas telling her,but she said that the extra details I had given to her would be well researched

.By law she could not tell me if thewoman had a case file ,there.

It took me about an hour of my time and Compassion. That is what buddhism teaches
Us to give,to help, through love and compassion, without expecting anything in return.

You have no idea how great ,I feel now.

MettaAndKaruna

A simple buddhist

To all or none,
COMPASSION,is the capacity to accept, that others do not think like you nor act ,nor feel like you.

To all or none,

Another element of true love is compassion, karuna, the kind of energy that helps remove suffering and transforms pain in the other person.

To myself,

I am living a particular situation ,right now, that removes me from the NOW.
I must have Compassion and loving kindness ,for myself.

If any of you possess these 2 flowers ,please send them to me.

Loong.....not too long ago I had to forgive someone who I loved deeply and who hurt me enough to cut me to the bone. I realized that this person did not want to intentionally hurt me, and it was only out of the pain they were in that this person acted this way, and in hurting me this person also hurt themself even more.

I had compassion for the plight of this normally kind and giving person, and forgave very quickly. I connected with the pain that this person suffered, and I could not offer anything but love and compassion. It has since changed my life and how I view others.

Loong......I offer you compassion and loving kindness. May they bloom in your heart and bring you peace. _/\_
