As the game progresses the game becomes harder (time decreases and number of red butterflies increases). At first time is set at 40s, once you defeat spherimorph it becomes 30s. And at the time when you have the airship there is a lot more red butterflies, thats when you get the saturn sigil (but only when you have the airship and are doing it by the 3rd "stage").
