I just had a ribeye steak in a restaurant. I usually drink white wine but I desired a red for this meal. A Malbec by Alamos was suggested to me when I asked for a light red wine. The wine went great with the steak, being medium bodied, dry, with lovely dark fruit notes and soft tannins. I will buy this wine for enjoying at home, as it turns out to be a very affordable wine. In addition, it was nice that my face didn't flush from this wine as it often can from drinking reds.
