I think that the good folks at La Terra Fina should rename their unbelievably delicious Chunky Spinach Artichoke & Parmesan Dip. The name tells the major ingredients, but it doesn’t give a hint of how versatile this dip is. I would call it “The Sandwich Makers’ Friend.†I highly recommend it.
GREAT review! I never thought to use a dip as a sandwich spread and that is a FABULOUS idea, Connie! Well, I have used hummus as a spread for a sandwich of roasted veggies.
I used the last of the dip today by adding milk to the dip carton and scraping the sides and bottom. I poured the resulting liquid into a pan and added just a few potato flakes and heated it. Great soup! So easy!
Spread the dip on a flour tortilla. Layer some deli sliced meat, like ham or pastrami on top. Roll it up and wrap the roll in plastic wrap or foil. Refrigerate overnight and slice into pinwheels. It's an easy snack.
