A truly great article, Lori. Thank you. It sure puts a lot of things into perspective.
I am sure all of us have irritating habits that our men could name, and they put up with more than we realize.
Life is indeed way too short. Once someone is gone from the physical realm, they are gone from our lifetime. I'd love to deal with my sweetheart's irritating ways again if only to have him back in my arms.

I loved the snoring story!!
I can beat my husband up in his sleep when he's snoring and keeping me up and he would have no clue - but, boy, does it irritate me. So do other things - like when he laughs in movies (no one in the family wants to sit next to him at a comedy)... but that would never lead me to divorce.
Great article!!!

Thanks, Lisa! Here's something that irritates me:
When my husband is at his computer, I give him space until he is finished with whatever he is doing. Even when he is just playing his infernal game.
But when he is done, he comes to me at my computer and expects me to drop everything so we can go off together.
sigh.

Lori......in a way that is cute, but perhaps the man needs a few more hobbies besides playing video games to keep him busy while you are attending to your own business. Have you explained to him that you need your own computer time too?

Uh, no. Not cute.
If I say something like, "I'm still in the middle of something" he'll wait but the look on his face makes me feel horrible. I know it's my fault for being overly sensitive. I should just let him deal with it, but I end up logging off so he doesn't have that sad, pouty, disappointed face.
I am so easily manipulated.
