The title of this thread brought a happy memory - my daughter took her 3-year old to the studio for photos. He was thoroughly engrossed in watching the photographer set the stage for photographing the other children. When it was his turn, he promptly began gathering props and setting them up as if he was the photographer. It took a little coaxing to get him to cooperate and let the photographer take pictures of his face and not just his back!

That sounds so cute! I love that age! Although, since many of my photos are at the beach, I've had more than a few three year old throw sand at me! LOL!

I had good use of almost all of these tips last night. I photographed a 100 year old man's birthday party, along with family portraits. You can imagine how large his family was!

I had to run back and forth to get the 9 month old laughing, I had to "slap me five" after almost every shot to get the little 3 year old to keep her hands off her face. And I had to remind thirty people on a regular basis to stop "helping" me. LOL!

That was quite an assignment.
